I don't know if it counts a stormy romantic suspense, but Madame Bovary is one of my favorites!
ReplyDeleteOne of my recent favorites is Heather Graham's Harrison Investigation series. I also read and liked recently One Scream Away by Kate Brady and Love You to Death by Shannon Butcher.

Even though Elizabeth Peter's Amelia Peabody series is technically considered a mystery series, I consider it romantic suspense since Amelia and Emerson's relationship is at the core of these adventures. These books are sooooo great...exploring the Egyptian tombs and suspense are the perfect combination!

ReplyDeleteI have to say Rebecca wins for me. It's romantic suspense page turner like no other ( In Cold Blood comes to mind but it's far from romantic and Anna Karenina comes to mind as well but Tolstoy wasn't too concerned with suspense).
