Daphne du Maurier was born on this day in 1907. She gave us Rebecca, arguably the best romantic suspense novel ever written.

I reread this book last year after falling in love with it in middle school. I forgot how absolutely riveting and amazing this story is. They just don't make 'em like that anymore.
